Meet the Family
One of the many things you are going to love about us is our team. Sure our lawyers are top rated professionals, but our administrative team, we call Client Care Coordinators, have the word “Helpful” on their business cards for a reason. They are here to help you. It is not uncommon to get a text with funny emojis and lots of “bless your hearts” on the phone. Unlike many attorneys from whom you cannot get a return phone call, we call and text sometimes just to check in.
And not just anyone is R+E material.
People in the legal profession think family law is too personal, but that’s what we love about it. We get to be helpful with the important stuff. We are small by design, because “big” does not work in family law. We know this from experience. In a big firm, your routine conflict check crosses dozens of screens, and your personal information on the law firm system is accessible to tons of bored people. At R+E, we think the fewer people that know about your situation the better. Representing corporations is just not the same as representing individuals. We know this from experience too.
Our team is made up of special people with a special calling. Below we proudly introduce you to our awesome little family.
Craig Robertson is the founder and managing partner of Robertson + Easterling. He loves his job. Craig is an innovative problem solver and an energetic mediator. Craig gets his competitive fix in the courtroom, where he has excelled since becoming a member of the bar after graduating from Ole Miss in 1999. In fact, Super Lawyers magazine has named him a Rising Star every year since 2008, and he is board certified in family law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In 2011, Craig was chosen by the Mississippi Business Journal as a Top 40 Under 40, which recognizes the state’s 40 up-and-coming business leaders under the age of 40. He has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and is the founder of a non-profit adoption agency, 200 Million Flowers. In 2016, he was appointed by the Mississippi Supreme Court to serve on the Mississippi Commission on Children's Justice, and he has been instrumental in operationalizing Rescue 100, a faith based initiative to train foster parents in an expedited manner.

Matt has an uncanny ability to put people in crisis at ease -so much that many clients have remarked that he missed his true calling as a therapist. He is intensely competitive and passionate.
