Courtney Wolfe
Courtney Wolfe is a law clerk at Robertson + Associates. Originally, from Rio Vista, Texas, Courtney graduated from Baylor University in Psychology and Business Administration and decided upon graduation that she was not yet ready for law school, so she moved to Bangkok, Thailand to teach English. During the two years she spent in Thailand, she traveled all over Asia and South East Asia, from the Great Wall of China to the beaches of Bali, Indonesia. Sufficed to say, Courtney caught the travel bug and took every opportunity she could to take in the culture and sights that surrounded her. After two years and added pages to her passport, she said goodbye to her students and returned to the United States to attend law school at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson.
Since 2009, Courtney has lived in Jackson, all the while missing her family in Texas and the ability to just pick up and go to exotic destinations. Like most law students, in the beginning Courtney was overwhelmed and wondered if she would find an area of the law that would make her want to go to work every day. However, in her second year, Courtney took a chancery court clinic where she served as a guardian ad litem representing the best interests of children in custody proceedings and realized that chancery (family) practice was where she belonged. Since then, Courtney has served as a student attorney in youth court and represented families in finalizing adoptions.
After graduation, Courtney will make another big move, but this time she will not be moving to another time zone, she will be moving to Monroe, Louisiana where she hopes to find a job with a small family law practice.

It has been a while since I sat down to write a blog article.
